Introduction

Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH) is the largest provider of NHS dentistry in the UK, currently operating and delivering NHS services through 220 dental practices.

IDH's practices offer the full range of NHS dental services, in addition to further and specialist services such as Sedation, Minor Oral Surgery, Domiciliary Services and In-hours Urgent Access.

Within the IDH group of companies is the UK's largest group of specialist orthodontic practices (13 providing NHS orthodontic services), which operate under the Orthoworld subsidiary.

The holding company, IDH, provides its services through a number of provider organisations known as Dental Body Corporates (DBCs), of which the two largest are Whitecross Dental Care Limited and Petrie Tucker & Partners Limited. There are a number of smaller DBCs operating under the IDH umbrella too.

IDH's practices serve a range of patients in both urban and rural locations, offering services and accessibility to suit their often diverse clinical, social and cultural needs.

Working in partnership with 90 Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and Local Health Boards (LHBs), as well as Health Boards under different contractual arrangements in Scotland, IDH strives to help these Primary Care Organisations (PCOs) realise their Dental Commissioning and Oral Health Strategies.
