Corporate Induction & On-going Training and Development

Upon joining IDH all dentists attend a week-long residential Corporate Induction, which represents over 30 hours of verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The Corporate Induction covers areas such as Basic Life Support, Oral Cancer Screening and Detection, Health & Safety, Cross Infection Control, the Patient Journey and Customer Care.

As part of the corporate induction all GDPs undergo an assessment of their clinical competence and experience, and agree a Personal Development Plan (PDP) which will be revisited by one of IDH's Clinical Directors (an experienced dentist). The PDP identifies individual training needs and areas for development.

Where a training need has been identified, IDH is able to send its dentists on bespoke 'hands-on' training courses which the company organises at the Eastman Dental Institute (London).
